... the college I want to apply to for ODP training hasn't even started accepting applications for the September 2007 intake. I called the faculty today about applying and, one confusing answerphone message later, managed to get through to an actual human being (I am glad I took down both the contact numbers from the university website). The application forms aren't even available yet - that'll be around the third week of March, so in about a month's time.

My chances of getting a place just got a little bit better.
